  1. Sorry, just got around to snapping a quick pick. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm going to give it some TLC. First thing it's getting is an HMF Swamp Series... I'm going to write up a review of it for QC when I'm done. Already ran into issues with a broken exhaust hanger bolt...lol. Can't wait to start messing with the carb. It's going to need a main jet with this muffler. I bought this machine from a good friend for $2k, w/plow and winch. It was a good deal for me and I've been quadless for a little bit. I need to get some stuff for it, air filter, one plastic kick panel, maybe some grips. Otherwise, it's in pretty good shape. Needs a wash and I was thinking of trying sme of that xtreme clean.
  2. I have not seen free, but this one is $5.49: 2003 Kawasaki KLF250 Service Manual. download PDF

  5. Good Morning! Raining here....
  6. That's pretty wild. Great pictures and videos!
  7. I think you'll find more events on the west coast, are you willing to travel?
  8. Yes, it should be FI. Have you checked your air filter? * Edited thread title, added manufacturer and issue.
  9. Do you have your vacuum lines connected properly? * Edited thread title, added issue and manufacturer. Removed other thread as it is a duplicate issue with this one.
  10. I agree with DD, I would be worried about replacement parts for those machines. Those are probably chinese knockoffs, so I don't recommend buying them. I would stick with a manufacturer like Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, etc. You will probably need to go to a port for pick up, since it probably comes directly from China.
  11. Is it blue smoke? With a K&N you are getting more air in, does it have an aftermarket exhaust? I would check the K&N website and see what they say about jetting specs with their filters. Keep in mind, it could very well be worn out rings. * Added year and manufacturer to thread title.
  12. It shouldn't be too difficult, although I have not done it myself. I used to own a Bayou 220. Are the valves slapping? Attached is a specs page, that's all I have. * Added year, make, and model to thread title. sp_KLF250A3.pdf
  13. That sucks. But sounds like you guys had a good time. Good thing he didn't get hurt, that's the positive side of that tree!!!
  14. Welcome to QUADCRAZY!
  15. If it wasn't for the jumping, I would say the Outlander, but in this case, the Renegade might suit you better. I prefer the Outlander, but I am a utility guy. I believe the Renegade has 4WD which will be good for getting out of the mud. If it did not, I would not get it. I'm more for comfort these days, and I think the Outlander would be more comfortable.
  16. That's funny, I always thought that also, even when he was on in the am on Fox and Friends. That would be funny if Glen Beck read that question on his show!
  17. Moved 2 posts from your new second thread into this existing thread with the same subject. Please do not start duplicate threads. Thanks.
  18. I agree with Raptor8, eyeball it out and take a look at the frame connect points for the control arms.
  19. What year is your quad?
