    Well now, after looking in the manual, yours and the grizzly 450 dont come with an override button .... why i dont know. My apologies ... i dont know if there is anything you can do to it stock to eliminate your condition, however, there is a simple mod you can do ... 02 - 03 Reverse OR

    if you remove the boot at the transmission, there is a u-joint in there .... ?? im looking at the manual too page 5-4 ...

    i would check the belt for wear for the forward gear problem, i think there is an inspection cover or you could take the side cover off and look ...

    it is green slime ... its a product (liquid) you put in the tires for leaks/puntures ...

    if you can take the kill switch and ignition switch apart, inspect and clean that first, make sure the neutral safety switch is working properly, light in speedometer pod coming on? you can take a volt meter to the wires coming out of the crankcase for the stator. not sure which side on a kawi, left side sitting on bike? i think maybe a bike this age, the stator may need replacing, but check everything else out first ....

    this is why i like the japanese bikes and not the knock offs ... there are threads posted here about the chinese bikes and want opinions ... i give my honest opinions and then feel guilty about posting it because people get very defensive replying when they are "sold" on one of these quads ... i would want to build what you are doing out of a japanese frame, there, im going to get bashed ... but it is well known that the chinese components are inferior to the japanese ...

    i looked in some chinese "owners" manuals i had and there is nothing on this at all, i think the vin number isnt even the 17 digit needed ...
