  1. Theses are all very good points and super helpful. Especially the members that have this particular bike. It’s great to see everyone’s different opinion on the problem/solution. From fuel/air, valves, belts which all are valid and possible. @Christian Brindle please let us know how you make out with this problem. I’m curious to see how this turns out and what the problem is/was.
  2. Maybe a road trip to VA in the near future if @JacobSlabach has some places to ride ! Go see some moonshine stills! 🤣
  3. I would try to set that air/fuel screw to 2-1/4 turns out from a snug tight position and see how that goes. And also be sure you cleaned the carb properly and put a new plug in as well.
  4. Should be located under the front plastic right in front of the handlebars.
  5. I’m not sure on your bike. But all you would have to do is follow the wire from the bulb back to the switch. The G/L wire on the diagram. It will lead you right to the switch. In the mean time I will look at your bike and see if I can’t locate it in the manual.
  6. The reverse light will only come on when you put it in reverse where the shifter makes ground contact through a switch obviously. So the 12v positive wire (br) on the diagram going to the light #20 should always have 12v when the key is on. The ground wire coming from the reverse switch may have a problem or the wire coming from it going to the bulb. Disconnect that wire #21 that provides the ground and see if the light goes off. If not then that wire is grounded someplace from the bulb socket to the reverse switch. If it does go off then the reverse switch is not working properly. Take a tester and see if you have continuity from that wire on the switch to a good ground when the bike is NOT in reverse. If so the switch is broken and constantly grounded.
  7. Check and see the choke, it may be stuck. Double check that and the cable but look good because sometimes it’s the choke connector inside the carburetor. If that’s all clear it’s possible that the carburetor needs an adjustment. But you have to figure out why because if it was running good and just started acting up then you have to find out what. So if the bike was fine before then something changed that. Maybe a piece of debris/dirt got into the carburetor somehow, maybe form dirt inside the tank, bad gas who knows. Also look at the air intake and make sure filters are all good and nothing got sucked into the carburetor like a piece of the air filter if it was crumbling. I would start there.
  8. We do need time. I have friends that are dropping like flies. We need to live brother. I have my two boys and they are good to go so any plans you are making count me in!
  9. lol that’s great. I sure wish we had some snow here. I am making a pledge this year to ride our asses off! I want to head out and even stay over night if need be and do some good trails. I may look into an enclosed trailer. Fundraiser rides, poker runs etc and even take a ride up by you and do that spring ride we posted about. Hopefully we get a few more members to join in. But I have to get out and ride more! That’s a fact!
  10. Yea I figured as much everything sounds different in the snow. Except for my wife, she always sounds the same for some reason year round !!! 🤔 😂 kidding! I think it’s just that steering. The traction you can get with the right tires. But then front wheels just have a mind of there own. Bike looks good. A little tight getting out next to them cars.......
  11. Nooooo thanks! I’m kinda backed up on bikes right now. Three bikes to sell right now. And after watching @06kfx440 ride his bike I have to get that Mojave I have sitting around doing nothing moving. I have not rode a clutch bike in a while so im Itching.
  12. It’s sounds good to me. Did it feel any different? Maybe a clutch slip ?
  13. Yes that’s normal on the harness for splices to come in like that. You have that diagram for your bike take a look at the #19 neutral safety switch If you can disconnect that wire going into the neutral switch also disconnect the reverse switch as well #20 and try to jump the neutral safety switch wire on the harness side to a ground and with the key on see if the neutral light comes on. Just curious to see how that works.
  14. Lol we were just talking about jumping! You don’t learn do you? Lol nice work kid keep at it. If you can’t break it then it’s no fun!
  15. Is that spot where the rockers are tight anywhere near top dead center ? I just find it so odd that there is a spot like that and it’s not top dead center.
  16. Ok so when you rotate the motor and watch the cam spin is there any point that the valve rocker is tight ? Like lo play ?
  17. Any point where there is no play is what I should have said. Any point that the cam lobes meet the rocker arms and it seems like you can get an adjustment ?
  18. I will never forget a friend of mine got his 4x4 and swore he would jump it. So one day we are out on our regular trails and we all hit the jump. It was a small cliff jump that had a drop of about 10 feet. The further you jumped the lower the the drop as the ground got higher with distance. So we stopped and waited for him. He hits the jump and as he came right off the jump it’s like the bike stopped in mid air and just went straight down. Like a ton of bricks. It was almost like something in the air stopped him. He stayed perfectly level and landed 10 feet down on all four tires. Lol he was fine the bike was too but just funny. Fat bottom girl was the bikes name after that. He traded it for a blaster a few weeks later.
  19. Sounds great. Can’t wait to see how it progresses.
  20. Wowwwwwwee that’s great. Looks exactly like my bear tracker. But I don’t know if they make that in a 4x4. The 350 That’s a nice set of projects. Do you have all the parts? plastics racks etc ? And more importantly the manuals ? I’m hoping you have everything and seeing them come back together will be cool and also rewarding. Do you have a budget in mind or a spending limit ? eBay will be a big help on some used parts for whatever your missing. Good luck and any questions you might have I’m sure myself as well as many others here at Quadcrazy can help you out.
  21. Yes I have a bear tracker. Great bike but only 2x4. Ok brother keep at it and keep us posted. Be safe.
  22. Post a pic of the bike of you can. I’m interested in seeing if we can identify it. I bet your anxious on the new parts to come for the other bike. I always hate waiting for parts.
