  1. right on !! yes, just shift with your foot when the revs sound right, like a car/truck. it's ok to kinda power shift going up in gears, but let the revs come down when you want to gear down, the transmission will work like a braking system too ...

  4. exactly ... it's probably an aftermarket stator and not an OEM. OEM would just connect and go, while the aftermarkets need to be tweaked a little ...
  5. yes, i had to switch the red to white and white to red. after installing the stator, the was little or no spark at the plug, but, after i moved the wires, brilliant blue spark

  9. when i replaced the stator on my '91, i had to switch the 2 wires out in the connector off the stator. a red and white i believe. i had the same thing happen as you. found the instruction/data sheet and told to do just that ...

  13. i've never seen any pics of an ltz done up, nor i have i seen any 'kits' available online ... usually they use 1 1/2" to 2" pipe. the airbox and all the pipe has to be water tight, alot of work and big gamble, IMO. jetting has to be re worked also. i know it would be cool to be different tho ... if i was to play in the water with a sport bike, i'd be putting paddle tires on the rear and trying to stay above the water rather than in it ... but that's just me. there are alot of tutorials on youtube for snorkels projects if you want to better understand ...

  19. the guys i know that have them keep them in a heated garage, so starting them isn't a problem. not sure how the ones fair being outside with block heaters ... but probably ok ...
