  10. i think you are on the right track with the wiring ... check the wires running by gas tank and under seat along the frame, and at the handlebar neck. watch the wiring as you turn the handlebars for maybe stretching and/or rubbing ... most times you can see the rub/wear marks on the harness, but you might have to cut it back to look at the individual wires to find a bad one
  11. stator and/or pick up coil ... stator produces spark ... check the 2 wires coming out of side where pull start is, the stator should be on that side too and the 2 wires are coming out of lower part of motor (at jug bottom height) above and behind toe shifter usually, red and white wires i think ...

  18. a good habit to get into is shutting the petcock off when not using it ... im guilty of leaving mine on too ... but it will stop the flow of fuel running into the carb, then crank if you have a bad seat ...
  19. could be the float in carb stuck and leaking into the crank from carb ... if efi, it could be blocked vent line coming out of crankcase, vacuuming fuel that way ... or rings ??
  20. valves may need to be set to spec ...

Trail Tech || Technology for the Trail there are a couple phone numbers on the bottom left and an email addy
  22. you should always use atv oil, it is different than the car/truck oil ... car/truck oil will eventually wear the clutch and transmission out. seems all the atv manufacturers have their own brand of oil they recommend, but any good brand ATV oil will be good ...

  24. your atv motor oil does the transmission ... make sure you replace it with ATV oil because it has additives for a wet clutch transmission ...
