  1. can you get on the bike and rock it back and forth to try and move the gears?
  2. transmission gears, not clutch ... there is a guy in the south, James on the highlifter forum (this is the thread i found him ... Gear reduction - Page 2 - Honda Foreman Forums : Rubicon, Rincon, Rancher and Recon Forum ) that is making reduction units for the southern part of the U.S. ... online you are right, nothing to be found ... update ...   4. look around the handlesbars, the wires as you turn, some are getting rubbed. look at the wires running by the gas tank and under the seat. everywhere there is a pinch point will be a problem ...

  8. if it were me, i think i would gamble on the regulator then ... it shouldnt drop or spike ...
  9. im pretty sure it runs all the time, leveling out the current ... it almost sounds like the stator is failing because thats what makes the power, but then you wouldnt have spark to keep it running ... im not sure what other modules are in between ... so maybe it is the regulator, does the current drop and/or spike with it running? i think it should be 14.5-14.7 ???
  10. the regulators do get very hot during operation, very hot to the touch ... you could cook an egg on it, but not light a cigarette ... i would hate to see you spend money on something you might not need. do you have a buddy with the same bike you could swap the part out to check? i know electrical components are non returnable/refundable after the package is opened ...

  12. have you tried either spraying gas or quick start into the carb thru the airbox? that manual i posted should be good for your bike, 1987 thru 98. 04, 09 and 2012 online ...

  16. i would go on ebay to find parts rather than a dealer ... 250 Kazuma Seat | eBay its hard to find a decent chinese manual ... sometimes the dealers will just photocopy what they have or give you a link. there should be a serial number maybe on the neck where the handlebars go down the tube in front of the motor or by your left foot sitting on bike on the frame rail stamped into the metal ...
  17. is there a dash light for the neutral/safety switch? sitting on the bike, it should be way back on top of the tranny on the left, sometimes that single wire gets weak and breaks or doesnt have a good connection ...

  19. have you spark at the plug? do you think it may have gotten wet? i would check for spark and connections ... a heated garage would be a bonus too ...
