  1. check your kill switch it may have shorted out im guessing need to know what type of bike would help.
  2. its a good price junk ones here are going for as mush as 1500 and look like junk replace oil pump crank oil filter and piston and maybe the sleve.
  3. 400/ex s are bad about ticking mine does it and it completely new check your timming chain tensor when you rebuild a 400 always check ur timming slides and crank gear and replace the timming chain the howling part sounds like the oil pump not pumping enough oil you always need to replace the oil and oil filter at least 4 times a year i change mine every 4 races on a average as many times as 20 and you do deceide to change out the crank go with a welded on i would go with a 4mil hot rod crank with a 460 big bore with a stage 2 cam.these motors genarate a lot of heat and friction so oil changes are a must.
  4. i raced it t planet sands this year and it ran 79.9 mph in 4 sec in 300ft
  5. ive spent 11 thousand dollars on this bike over a peroid of si years from ground up eveything is new and completly modified.
  6. man thats alot of snow i hope yall didnt let it go to waste it snowed here but it lasted about 24 hrs i wished some of yall lived around here.

  8. sounds like head gasket problems or cracked head and its allowing water to mix with the gas creating more water than gas when reve it up now you have more gas then water let it die check plug for water beads.
  9. i have a couple of freinds that have this bike ill see if theyll part them out and get you a phone # ok.
  10. sounds like to me its sucking air when it gets hot the motor parts are shrinking and creating a gap or your coil is dieing off when hot weaking the spark it takes a thin wall 18mm socket to remove it becarefull or youll break it the gap is 24-26mm gap.
  11. the neddle or the float is stuck have it rebiult by someone that knows whats going on until the after ridding turn the gas off people dont know this while your bike is ridding around in the back of your truck or trailer your float is steady working because of bounceing causing gas to sloashing in the bowl and there for over filling it and its got to go somewhere into the clyders out the over flow i suggest turning off the gas run out the in the carb DO NOT ATTEMPT ON 2 STROKES and if to much fuel gets dumped into the clyders it can bend your rods.
  12. check all connections at the rear of the bike at the main connection going to the brain the brain may be bad inturnally use a freinds and see butt there could be two wires smashed together that you nor anyone else can see alkalene build up can cause this on your connections.

  14. i have some banshee parts and several freinds that stock parts as well it looks like your clcy, are pitted i would go with 20thousands over and new pistions average clcy, bore is $90. new pistions wisco are about $210. with rings and gaskets have your head magnafluced for cracks and warpage since your pistion was turned check your rods to make sure the rod hasnt twisted on the crank and check your intake boots arent dry rotted or the reeds arent broke email about your list of parts and i can locate in about to days deoending on my freinds work schedual.
  15. go with four snows there cheaper but i peferr pro wedges #2 on duglouas blue lable.
  16. honda 10w/40 because ur cluthes also works off ur motor oil as well / castrol and other oils will fill in the pours in your cluthes and cause slipage i found out the hard way after 7 setts in one year.
  17. because you increased the compression on it but when you put in the hotcam you had to take out the compression release out so the hot cam could work properly to gain p0erformance that is something youll have to deal with mine does it also more in colder weather in warmer weather youn wont notice it.
  18. check ur in line fuse and another hiddin fuse attached or mounted to ur grab bar rail under ur seat requires a 30amp flat use.
  19. most people dont know it but a cbr 600 clutches street bike will fit ur bike because they are the same except in fiber street are more agressive or go with drit diggers extremes or go all out for about $800. like i did for all hennson componits.
  20. i use a trinty stage 5 dragg pipe cost is $460. all polished if not that use a fmf fullcore stage 4.
  21. polaris hubbs will interchange and uses the same bearing belive it or not thats what i run on my 400.
  22. if i was you i would have head cleaned and have new value seals and bonnetts changed dont go half assed.
