So, what do you guys think about the AW ban Obama wants to put through because of the past shooting in CT? I'm pretty well stocked (gun & ammo wise) personally, just curious to hear what others think about the ban and restrictions.
-
I STRONGLY recommend Sparks... Personally, the only single exhaust I'd ever run. I have heard pretty good things about Muzzy, I just have no experience with them.

Your reverse is engaged.

From what I recall from working on carbs, they're always from the bottom? So, 3rd from the bottom. That would make sense to me, which doesn't mean much.
-
3rd...........
-
As far as which side, they don't need to be the same, or even syncd. I'd try 150/155 and maybe the needles on the 3rd clip. 25 pilots...
-
Much, much better.
-
Indeed, they're awesome. I've saw a couple (one turbod and one not) and the things move quick.
-
Weird. What sprocket hub did you run?
-
No. A 421 with Cheetah cylinders wont touch 14k let alone 18k... Either way, it's not possible.
-
I do hope you understand your motor would have to rev up to 13,100rpm to reach that high of speeds with that gearing ratio.................
-
Calling you out on this... What tires, gearing, and RPM were you pulling to make this happen?
-
Best brands out there are Barker, Monster, Sparks, and CT Racing. In that order.
-
No... Don't run aftermarket jetting with stock parts unless it's lean. Jet accordingly and also get a good FULL exhaust system, such a Sparks, Monster, or Barker. Makes sense to me- stock pipe = stock jetting... Aftermarket exhaust = aftermarket jetting...
-
A:F or change jets. Also... How did you clean the carb?
-
Lololololllolollll

I was just throwing numbers out for that, it wasn't exact. Most early EXs here go for $1,500-2,250. 2004-2008 $2,500-3,500...
-
I'm just sayin, why use the EX as a base quad? I do understand that's what you've got for teh time being, but, say you sell the EX for $3,000 and you have $2000 to spend on mods to make "the top speed" higher. So, let's just say you've got $5,000 to work with. For 5g, you could get a 80HP+ banshee that'll kill on ANY 400ex. Banshee- $2000 CPI Pipes- $450 32mm Carbs- $350 VForce Reeds and Filters- $350 Quality Agressive Dune/Trail or Drag Port- $500-ish Bore/hone Cylinders- $150 Wiesco Top End Kit- $300-ish NOSS Head and Domes- $250 4mil Crank- $400 Override Transmission- $300 All that totals $4,950, rough prices, I estimated on the high side too.

Front sprocket, tires, rear sprocket, larger carb, drag pipe, cams, oversize piston, head porting, larger valves, striker crank, etc. I could go on all day. It depends on your wallet, how much can you spend. Why do you care about top speed? That's not what wins races...

Nice! I don't blame you for carrying while riding, heard too many horrible stories from people who don't...

Because they are in a totally different class.
