2001 Yamaha Wolverine 350 front wheel wobble
outlander560 replied to bgooch73's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
most likely the bearings in the front hub are worn down...replacing them would fix the wobble -
Looking 4 a new quad any suggestions?
outlander560 replied to ninhalo5's topic in General ATV Discussion
yea i would have to agree DrtyGrl the grizzly sounds like a good match for you....or even the arctic cat 700 would be just as good..both machines would surpass what your looking for...ONLY thing i would not recommend is really jumping the atv suspension issue won't arise, but breaking axle shafts and messing up the differentials will eventually be an issue (very costly one) -

How do I get ready for storage?
outlander560 replied to SD400exGirly's topic in General ATV Discussion
changing the oil when it comes to long time storage, now or later is going to get varied responses...some say now some say later. if the oil is dirty and you have free time then go ahead and change the oil. BUT if your not going to use the atv till next season, you can put it on the back burner for a lil while and get to it when you get to it...no harm will be done with oil just sitting in the motor if the atv is not being used that is -
hahaha thats a pretty nice kia your friends got tho

HELP .. i want to snorkle my 2001 polaris explorer 400
outlander560 replied to joedirt's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
well when you have to rejet you can tell by the color of your spark plug whether your running to rich of fuel or your running lean... as for your idea of quick disconnect snorkels...it can be done.. you will have to be creative, i saw on the Highlifter forums a guy used flex hose on his 07 arctic cat and ran the pipes all the way up to his center instrument panel and hid it underneath the panel..it was a "Hidden Snorkel" and as long as he didnt go up past his handle bars he was good to go. you can do something like that OR.. You can literally detach the 3 upper pipes for ur snorkel and have the fitting (where the visible tubes connect to the pipes underneath the plastic) sit right below the plasic fender, and you can rig up some kind of vent of some sort so air still gets to the snorkel but you can still drive without the extended pipes -
HELP .. i want to snorkle my 2001 polaris explorer 400
outlander560 replied to joedirt's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
ahh yes...i have heard that to...i have heard if you keep the plumbing down to a 1.5 inch diameter you will not have to rejet your carb... your muffler will be ok..i would recommend welding a pipe to it..but a lot of ppl i see dont do that, as long as the snorkel is set up and works right your engine will keep running and just push the water away from the exhaust. and for the electircal use di-electric grease for EVERY wire thats connected, fused whatever -

HELP .. i want to snorkle my 2001 polaris explorer 400
outlander560 replied to joedirt's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
make sure you bring all the vent lines for the differentials, carb, gas tank, (i think on the 01 polaris they had vent ports for the transmission) up to the top with the snorkels...and the air box is water tight and the exhaust and intake ports for the clutch is good to go...as for plumbing it all look at pictures on google for ideas..or rig your own setup its not that hard just time consuming As for Parts -pvc pipes with a diameter no bigger then 2 inches.(reason being is that the carb will have to be rejetted, io recommend 1.5 others recommend 2 inch diameter).that includes angled pipes to (90, 45) -u can use solid plastic pvc looks neat, or you can use flex hose it does the job but its messy looking -pvc cleaner and pvc glue -hose clamps -heat rap..thats for the pvc pipe when you run it along parts of the atv that produce high heat such as the engine and radiator -
i dont think there are aftermarket carbs for the 00' grizzly but you can look on ebay for a used one instead...going to yamaha they will charge you a small fortune for one

Duro Powergrips VS. Maxxis Bighorns
outlander560 replied to dirtjunkie85's topic in This vs. That ATV & Off Road Comparisons
i agree with these 2 ^^^^ go with Duros -
alright yea i agree it would prob lead to the timing if everything else is doing what its supposed to...best thing to do is to get a shop manual. they will lead you step by step, on where to look, what the timing should be at, and how to fix it if its the problem.

are you getting a spark??

2003 Kodiak Leaking fuel from drain hose at bottom of carb
outlander560 replied to DPDISXR4Ti's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
hmm i gotta think about that one.. It could be a vent line..OR it could be the carb drain plug hose...all/most carbs come with nozzle on the bottom of them so you can drain old gas that has been sitting.. Check and see where the hose connects to the carb is there a screw where the connect?? -
so your motor will crank and try to turn over...but it wont run?

2003 Kodiak Leaking fuel from drain hose at bottom of carb
outlander560 replied to DPDISXR4Ti's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
over time cracks could have formed in the hose line and once you turned the fuel "on" the gas found a place were it could start dripping...i would recommend going to an auto parts store and picking up new hose and just replace it...should be an easy/cheap fix -
