  1. A member sent me a message asking, I don't. Just trying to help out.
  2. Try to put a battery booster on it. There are times when the battery seems fine, all lights work and the starter turns the motor, but there isn't enough juice to turn it hard enough...those batteries can be sneaky.
  3. Can someone please post instructions on how to set the timing.
  4. Yes you will be fine as long as the bead is still set. The bead was still set on this, the sidewall ripped. We got hit by dirtbike. The rim still works.
  5. Keep an eye open on craigslist/ebay. You could even try Yamaha Rhino Forum - Rhino Forums.net The people on there spend gobs of money on their machines. Stock wheels/rims are readily available. I don't see how the rhino rims would rub on anything. The offset is probably the same. If the air pressure in the tires is not the same on both sides that could cause it to pull to one side. It would have to be one gnarly dent in the rim to effect your straight line. Alignment is a definite possibility, it gets out of whack over time.
  6. I hope they beefed up the roll cage. It was very week on the early models.
  7. I own a Rhino myself, the tires are decent and the rims are even better. They are very strong, I sold my stock rims for 25 a piece. So add another 25 for a tire...good deal.
  8. Yes, as long as the bolt pattern matches you are good.
  9. Welcome Dave, glad you decide to join. I started out on 2 wheels back in the 80's myself!
  10. IMO, the coolest thing about the orange is not a lot of people have that color. I like different. Any color combo you decide to go with on aftermarket parts such as bumpers, grab bar, and nerfs will look good. I highly recommend getting some nerf bars right away. They add tons of protection.
  11. Congrats, I always liked those Orange Plastics.
  12. If the prosecutor tries to make you look like the bad guy, Just let them know that you went temporarily insane when you saw what he had done to your baby sister. Of course let your lawyer word it so you don't sound like some unstable maniac.
  13. Sorry, to hear that. But I'm glad you did something!
  14. Sweet, I just looked and I'm up to 16 referrals!
  15. My pleasure, I actually have links on several other sites too!
  16. The 440 kit will probably be the best kit for the EX
  17. An exhaust system, intake, jetting accordingly, and a cdi would give you a bit more. Definitely a noticeable gain.
  18. Yes, we love having new people on board. We consider all of our members one big crazy family, we try and watch out for each other and help out in anyway we can. Welcome to the family.:woot:
  19. Beautiful work! I think it says it all.
  20. Please keep us updated...we're glad you found us to!
  21. Looking good, can't wait to see the final project.
  22. Yes, you need to get more gas in there. If the jet kit was set for a stock lid and you're running a modified lid. You're letting a lot more air in than the kit is designed for.
  23. He is giving a $10.00 discount to any member of this forum. If you have made 500 post on this forum you get an additional $5.00 off for a total of $15.00 off. You only have 2 post. As for the wires, I would imagine they silicone any holes for wiring.
  24. Sounds like it is running lean, You will want to get it jetted properly ASAP.(it is carbed, right?) That would answer the questions about the hesitation in the throttle and that could also be what is causing the heat.
  25. Here is an update from Mr. 8 WOW we've had a fun week so far. Monday morning I had a STROKE so got another ambulance ride. They did every test imaginable, MRI,CAT,ultrasound, EKG<ECG, I have about 20 more holes in me. Then they went into my left femoral artery and snaked a catheter up into my neck and brain and did a little cleaning. I am back home now but not very darn active. I have most of my left eye, arm and leg back and it is getting better so we expect a full recovery.
