  1. Very sweet you should have bought it..... nah buy her a gas one.
  2. When it stops running can you start it back right then or do you have to wait awhile?
  3. Happy Birthday MWKE!! I hope you have a good one man!! FYI His birthday one FB is July 10th. He has not been on there in awhile either best I can tell.
  4. Sounds like a fuel problem. When you choke it it restricts the air so you have enough fuel but when you give it gas and need that fuel it sounds like it is not getting it.
  5. I merged your threads into the Suzuki forum. I believe you will get your best answers from here.
  6. Yes I would like to know how you come out on this too.

    Hi

Welcome to QuadCrazy Don. What type of riding do you like to do and what do you ride?
  12. You could put one of those clear in line filters in-between the petcock and the carb and watch it to see if the fuel stops flowing right before it shuts off.
  13. I am moving this thread to the Kawasaki forum so hopefully you will get some help from people who own or know something about the Bayou. I have no idea it sounds like you have check most everything. DirtDemon "Josh" is probably the most knowledgeable on the list he will probably see this and chime in. I will ask my father-in-law he is very knowledgeable too. We have had a couple of those machines they are very tough. I still have a 96 Lakota my wife rides which is pretty much the same motor.
  14. Welcome Biggreencat and trailridinqueen welcome to QuadCrazy.
  15. I cannot locate my manual right now but it appears that the sight glass is for exhaust valve. I found this on another forum: at idle, the valve should be open, through the sight glass the arm should be down. once the RPMs increase enough to close it, the arm goes up(rod pushes it up.) the spring adds just a slight amount of additional pressure and allows you to tune the RPM the valve closes by how far you turn the knob... a significant change can be had with only +/- 1/4 turn from 360CCW.
  16. I am hoping to go riding Sunday or Monday. It is going to be in the 70s here tomorrow cannot wait.
  17. Yeah I hope the paint holds up mine is just ok. I am about to paint my son's Blaster and hope it works better. I really like the seat cover.
  18. I do have the sight glass but I can't remember now where it is I will look tonight if I can and let you know. I believe DD is right.
  19. Cool my 1987 Suzuki LT250R was ice raced before I owned it.
  20. Good project. I have a 87 LT250R. I am enjoying working on it too.
  21. Another good idea is to check your wiring and the switch. I went round and round with Polaris everyone telling me it was the stator and wanting me to pay for a new one and come to find out it was just a loose wire/bad contact.
