i have a 2000 arctic cat 250 utility 2 wheel drive that has the suzuli motor on it with the 5sp manual tranny .. with the auto clutch...

good old honda .. i have 2 3wheelers put away that i restored ...

sounds like its still got some stuff in the carb... the reving of the motor was it leaning out ...i would check it again an make shure every little passage is still clean.. an put a filter inline

Well it wasent any fun thats for shure ...i was driving and i got lucky and when i jumped off i got in a position ware i could throw it off of me ... the hard plastic dump bed on the rear of the quad is what we figure got him across the arm.. the only dammage 2 the quad was on the dump bed ... and thanks guys for responding to my boys thred... the post miner...lol

i dont have any pic on my pc.. ill have 2 look and see if i have any of them on cd or ware i can find them for on here ... and yes i did 2 complete restos... motor on the 70atc was completely rebuilt ...and i powder coated every thing instead of paint ...and ordered factory old stock decals for them also..the 110 atc i rebuilt the motor and also bought a brand new lifan 150 motor and put on it ...i also bought new aftermarket exhaust eystems for both of them and new tires and brakes on both... i bought any and every thing new that had any ware on it ...i also had several parts re-chromed that needed it ...

i have an atc 70 that i restored a couple years ago and a 110atc that i did about the same time ...lol.. i have more in them than they are worth or will ever be worth ...lol.. but they look better than when they were sitting on the dealer show room ...lol... i have between 3 and 4 grand in the pair ....lol..it wasent a cheap build on either 1 ...lol..

does it have a fuse box ? if so i would check them.. i done work on many arctic cat quads so im not really familiar with there electrical system.. i would also just check to make shure all the electrical plug connections are clean and making good contact...

O man ... i hope it works out 4 ya ... hate to hear things like this ...my son and i went riding sunday and we rolled the quad ... he got a broke arm an dislocated a bone in his wrist ... he had to have surgery on it tuesday and got a big pin put in it ... so he wont be doing any riding for the next 8 to 10 weeks ...

just the same as OX... i have had very good luck with YUASA batterys... and i have a battery maintainer that i plug into my quads ... i have had the battery last up to 7 years that way ...

its a 1996 dodge ram 4x4 360 auto ... ext cab ... and thats a short trailer ...lol i have used it to pull a 40 foot inclosed low top V nose snowmobile trailer ...

well mario ...lol.. its a truck... lol... but i have moved it with a 250 arctic cat utility quad with 2 quads still on the trailer ..lol.

i have a utility master 26 foot car trailer with a 3 foot dove tail..i use and we haul up to 10 quads on it at a time ...lol

well what are they asking for it ? if you can find that out then offer about 1000 to 1500 less than the asking price then thats what i would do ... alot of dealers are willing to cut the prices alot right now to make sales #... and now that its considered a left over from the previous year they might make ya a good deal on it ...

well it sounds like its got a dirty carb or something to do with the fuel system..

flooded ? as in under water? if so then you will prolly need to take the starter all apart and clean it ..or replace it ....

i have seen this problem b4 on several polaris machines ... and it is usually a problem with the starter gears ... they get a little rust and or some ware on them and will hang up and stick ... and it will need to be taken apart an checked for ware and make shure it has proper lube on the ends of the shafts and some lube on the gears but not alot ... also the bendix can be hanging up and causing it to do that ... i would check this out an go from there ..

valves and timing can also be the prob... i would check and see how tight the valves are adjusted ... if you have a service manual on it ...it will tell you how to do this ... and you can also check the timing that way ... it almost sounds like the timing chain might have jumped 1 tooth ..
