    the coil may test good, even if its bad. it would be the cheapest component to change. hopefully everything checks out good with the cdi and stator ...

    i would guess stator or cdi. if the bike is hot when it wont go, could be the coil too. the coil will break down when it gets hot ....

    more likely its the single wire going to the neutral/safety switch. that switch doesnt fail for the most part, but, sometimes they do ... i would just follow the wire as best you can, and youll probably see just a few strands of wire holding it together or the connector needs to be taken off and sanded/cleaned up some for better contact

    i think theres only one wire to it, its just probably a bad connection or bad wire ...

    i thought the big bears had the mukuni vm or bm series carbs, maybe yours did get switched. i would take the pictures and email them to mukuni to verify what yamaha it came off of ...

    dirty carb probably. try seafoam in the gas tank and run it thru or try some aerosol spray carb cleaner while its running. if that doesnt fix it, carb teardown and clean ... you could play around with the air/fuel mixture screw too
