    i am having the same problem with my 660 grizz ... i have a new battery and it will wind the engine over fine, but will not start it. pull the start cord and fires up every time i almost think that it has to be a weak coil maybe? hope someone else can jump in and give us both a heads up on this ... i for one am too old to be reefing on a pull cord

    that was the last we heard ... so i figured you were splurging on a new ignition. now, 2 months later, on your 100 dollar quad ... did you get a new ignition for it ?

    first, nice play on words LOL ... i looked on bike bandit, went back to 98 and ahead to 2001, and it looks like they are different shocks for each year. don't know why ??? i think the 4x4 shocks are a littler heavy duty for the weight of the bike ...

    i think the 3 wheelers had the 3 lug, but the 4Xs have the 4 lug set-up ... and the spacer is probably just that, a spacer ...

    i would check exactly what Mudflap64 stated ... run a garden hose thru the fins of the rad to clear it out, if it is air cooled, the rad is like a transmission cooler, check the lines going to and from the rad and oil pump and make sure theres enough oil in the crankcase. if the bike is running lean, it will heat up too ...

    i think it would be freaky cool ... its going to be a heavy "go-cart". are you keeping the wheels the same on it? what are you going to do for a motor? i would like to see the pics you post ...
