  2. which part is it on this diagram? this is based on a 1998 wolverine ...
  3. normally there is some oil in the air breather and you should always coat the air filter with a thin coating ... you could take the air box hose off to the carb from the airbox and see if there is a mist of fuel blowing back ... could be a simple carb tweak to fix or valves could be off a hair ...

  9. if you have a volt meter, you could also see where the live current is running thru like the solenoid ...
  10. i would say clean the starter button, take it apart and clean the contacts from the dirt, or your solenoid is stuck. the handle of a screwdriver and a few good taps might knock it back down, or you might have to replace it if the starter button is ok ...

  16. welcome to the QC site !!
  17. Where is Mario ? @183
  18. on page 4-5 in the manual is the carburetor blowout. all the jets unscrew. the choke looks like a regular push/pull set up, other than the fact it has a handle like an old well water pump. does this one work the same way ~ up and down motion to prime it? or just a toggle type setting? sucks the dealer didnt have a kit, they sure gouge you for individual parts ...
  19. the pick up coil is where the stator is. the cover at your left foot sitting on the bike.
  20. bad coil, they will break down when hot, after they cool off it will start and run fine i bet ...
  21. do you mean pull starting vs. electric start? maybe just luck of the draw, enough fuel, right position of piston stroke. i found out electric start may not go because the pick up coil is set back a hair too far or is dirty.
