  1. There is another nearly thread nearly identical to your other one, that user, jfm1, apparently has a manual, I would send him a message, he may be able to give you the info you need.
  2. It is the pin/plunger with a pointed rubber tip that blocks the flow of fuel when the float rises.
  3. No, the pin/plunger that stops the fuel when the float rises.
  4. Sounds like your front diff is toast man. Have you taken the actual differential apart? There should either be a bunch of gears inside, or something that looks like a clutching system of sorts. Either way, it sounds like you need a new one.
  5. You might be able to remove without splitting the case halves. Since you are removing the cylinder to have it bored that will make it easier. You may be able to remove the side cover, and anything that is in front fo the timing chain sprocket on the crank and work it around the end of the crankshaft. But if you can't get it around, then you will probably have to split the cases. Ebay has repair manuals for Kingquads up to 98, the motors are nearly identical to yours, so they may be of some help. ATV Parts, buy and sell ATV, Honda ATV Parts on eBay Motors
  6. Could you please post the engine size of your Bayou so we can add it to the thread title. You can get to the rocker arms through acces holes underneath cover plates on the front and rear of the head. On the side, there is a round cover that allows you access to the camshaft. I think you can pull the rocker shafts out from behind that cover as well, after that, you should be able to remove the rockers from the holes at the front and rear of the head. It is kind of a pain in the as* that Kawasaki apparently didn't see it necessary to just use a regular valve cover, but you can get to the parts without completely tearing down the motor. I imagine that you will want to remove the fenders and fuel tank to make access easier.
  7. I don't see how that would be the case if it only runs badly when it is in 4wd unless it is only governed in 4wd.
  8. I detect a note of sarcasm there.
  9. I can't see any of the vids???????????
  10. I thought that is what you meant, I just can't help picking things apart.
  11. I found a few of the short vids we took at Winchester Bay the day before the cleanup. One is my friend Brandon doing what he loves bese, wheelies. The others are just short clips of us climbing a razorback, not of the vids really give an indication of how steep this hill is. Here are the links to the vids. 12. Does it just die like it was shut off, or does it seem to stall out? First thought to my head is clutch problems. Maybe the springs are worn out, and can't keep the clutch from engaging at idle.
  13. In that case, break out the jackhammer and git er fixed up good.
  14. Be careful, she knows EVERYTHING.
  15. I would have paid millions for those pics, and you just gave them to us for free, how nice. That is freakin awesome. Nice mullet. As far as the previous pics of your son, arms and legs will heal, he is protecting the things that won't, his noggin and eyeballs. Looks good to me. I never had any more than a helmet and goggles when I started riding, and the dirt is much less forgiving than the sand. BTW, how did your son take pics of you in 1982? That was 28 years ago.
  16. True, they probably did not changeover the years, we just like to have the year make and model in all our thread tiltles. I understand your problem now, you could try and measure it, but it may be easier to take the new one with you to match it up to a socket. 1 1/2" is roughly 38mm. Heating the a-arm up a little bit might help loosen the bolt up, so a torch may actually be usefull. I would leave the jackhammer as a last resort though, only use that if it really pisses you off and needs to be taught a lesson. Good luck.
  17. I know I'm not a she, but I thought I would chime in on this one. The only time I take my wedding ring off is when I am riding. It tears the callus off of my palm if I leave it on. My ring is a big bulky tungsten ring, I probably wouldn't have that problem with a smaller ring though.
  18. Check a parts fische for your machine, some of them diagram each bolt and tell you what size it is. What year is your Grizzly?
  19. Flipping the bike up on end will probably let most of the water run out, but I would still take the carb off and clean it out just to be safe.
  20. I agree with Ajmboy, first thing I would check is the air cleaner. You have described exactly what happens when the filter gets wet or dirty on my LTR.
  21. The fuel screw is really only going to affect idle and just off idle performance. Mid throttle mixture is mostly affected by needle taper and position. I think you are fine, as long as the machine runs ok, I would leave it be and check the plug from time to time just to see how it is doing.
  22. Can you please post the year of your machine so we can add it to the thread title? From what I can tell there is a snap ring that holds the ball joint into the a-arms. I have seen grooves in the threaded part of the ball joint before, I don't know if that is how it is supposed to be on your machine.
