Ajmboy replied to mat1994's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
Maybe the float in the tank is bad? Take a look at the diagram below. #13 is the sending unit. The link is here: http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2006-polaris-atv-sportsman-450-a06mh46aa/o/m5517 -

Did you replace it with something else, or are you not riding with music anymore?

Could be the cdi if the coil tests out ok. Do you know anyone else with a warrior that you can swap cdi boxes to test? What I would probably do, is buy a used one off of ebay like this unless you can test it properly: 01 yamaha warrior 350 CDI BOX: eBay Motors (item 150465209133 end time Jul-15-10 10:05:04 PDT)

Ajmboy replied to luckyhook's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
Take a rag or old towel and place it over the exhaust outlet to muffle it...backpressure will build and you should be able to hear if there is an ehxaust leak. -
I want in too! That boat is straight outta Batman!!!

Are you saying you don't know how to remove the stator? Isn't it bolted in? I know you will need a special flywheel bolt to remove the flywheel if you are doing that..I believe. * Added issue to your thread title.
