  1. @Ajmboy what size did you go up to ? No suspension work needed ? Did the bike feel higher?
  2. Thank you fellas I’m going to make a move by the end of the week and get something ordered. A little more research and I think I’m going to pull the trigger and then on to a small or low profile snorkel.
  3. So after I finally got out and rode some better trails and some mud time I have been seriously thinking about adding a better tire and rim. Bigger and better for mud as well as tough terrain. I have been looking around and can’t make my mind up. Im sure @mikeexplorer @Yamaha Grizzly @Gunny @06kfx440 @Ajmboy as well as many more members have opinions and more importantly a few different vendors that I can take a look at for pricing and availability! Im looking at a 25 inch tire as a maximum without having to lift it or do any suspension work. While I'm on the topic I’m interested in snorkels! Yes I'm (we as in my oldest boy) are thinking about going deep! Kinda hooked on the mudding, water and crazy trail riding.
  4. Hey Gary. Try to raise the wheels off of the ground and see if it goes in. Just curious.
  5. From each of the three wires. One at a time to ground you should get nothing. From wore to wire yes 300 + is acceptable.
  6. I would start by changing the oil, grease all fittings including the steering connections, tie rods etc. Then pull the differential fluids and change. They are often over looked. Maybe a fresh spark plug. Check the air pressure and you should be good to go.
  7. I remember when I was a kid riding my bicycle I would bunny hop onto the hood of the Fiero and ride over the car!
  8. Nice pic. You can buy the TPS calibration tool on amazon. It comes with multi tap plugs for several types of set ups.
  9. Wow what a mix! Lols like a drug cartels car collection 😂🤣 I see a few Datsun 280’z. Loved them cars.
  10. Did you get any reading from each wire to ground ?
  11. That’s good to know. Did you test from each wire to ground also ? Did you order a new one ?
  12. It’s basically the same set up just different bolt patters etc because it’s a different manufacture. But the system and functionality is the exact same. You can pull the valve covers and see if oil is flowing into the head while it’s running. If it’s a ticking sound I would think it’s more of a valve adjustment or oil. If it’s a slight knock then I would think it’s the cam journal. You can stick a Q tip into the head to see if it has oil inside. If so the it’s pumping up there. Then do the valve adjustment and go from there. Did you change the oil ?
  13. One other thing I want to mention. On that bayou 400 I had, the head had a knock. It turned out to be the cam journal. It was scored and worn. So check that also.
  14. Nice work. The kill switch needs to be tested by the two wires. Not one to ground. Tester has to go on both wires from kill switch. On ohms setting. Then move the switch from on to off. You should get a reading. The ticking could be a valve adjustment or poor oil flow to the head.
  15. That bike looks new in that video @Ajmboy Time flies is right brother. When are you goofing to join us for a ride ??
  16. Welcome to Quadcrazy Anthony! It all depends on what CC your going to run in. What you’ve ridden before and what upgrades you plan on having done. Are you looking to buy new or used ? For me I love Yamaha. I feel they have a great bike. Although suspension work and tires are key along with a good aftermarket exhaust right out of the gate are needed they make an overall fast bike. Second I like Kawasaki.
  17. Great stuff brother. I loved the first mud hole! I’ve been following on IG for quite some time now, always great posts. The boxes on the rear racks. Are they pelican ? And what do you keep in them ?
  18. ? What are we looking at ? I mean I know what we are looking at but is there a problem ? Also that red wire in the background looks like it was pinched. The three whites are your stator coil wires. The blue and white stripe and red should be your pic up coil wires.
  19. Love it ! Well done. Makes me think now to put a roll of tie wire in my back pack.
  20. Ha ha that’s great. As long as it worked out. Always keep a roll of duct tape.
  21. Very good. Maybe you can join us for a ride after you are up and running.
  22. That’s great. You came to the right place for help. What kind of bike do you have ?
  23. Your welcome. Let us know how it goes.
