  1. Trump is a racist prick.. but probably the lesser of 2 evils ....I wish I was Mexican
  2. It appears to be from Krypton . If you touch it,are you able to climb walls and such ?
  3. It sounds to me that your gas vent line is blocked and its creating a vacuum from the fuel flow eventually cutting off flow completely
  4. Not atv site, but snowmobile site .. I'm know as "xcr700" on hardcore sledder lol. It's nice to be able to ride year round
  5. Thanks buddy. .. I've been busy on another site after they made me a mod ..blooming babysitting lol
  6. Good evening haven't been on here in a long time. Figured I'd come see what's up ...

  8. Update.. Fixed it..belt was coming apart, tangled in clutch and destroyed crankcase seal, allowing gas to leak out. Changed belt, gasket, cleaned clutches and changed oil.. Perfect now
  9. I have a 98 sportsman 500. I was riding today and noticed the belt was squeaking on take off. Shortly afterwards the clutch just shuddered like mad and atv stopped. Won't start now and I also have a nice fuel leak from underneath atv.. Any ideas before I tear into it next week?
  10. 500-1000 depending on the condition of rest of atv, is my opinion anyhow
  11. If you're doing the work yourself I would fix it and sell it,otherwise maybe part it out. You wouldn't want to keep it? 400ex is pretty cool, wish I still had my 500 predator..
  12. Seafoam is awesome.. Even got rid of the EGR code in my truck,3 years ago
  13. It's basically a slipper clutch in the rear end to help with the load shock..I would get an sld delete kit for it,especially if you're running bigger tires.
  14. Have you been through any deep water? What condition is the belt in? Sounds more like the spike or shock load damper.. Think that's what it's called. Buddy had this problem on his.. Maybe weld it?
  15. I'm positive they're the same
  16. Maybe ingested water in the air box?or is it doing it all the time now,and you need the override to correct it?
  17. I have 12,000 miles on my 98sportsman500, a four stroke is like a car, gas and go for the most part, just keep up on regular maintenance. I've only put in a few batteries and starters, one clutch under warranty (don't double in deep mud all the time) and one stator. Not bad for 15 years of total abuse.I hope that my 800 pro r will last to 5000 miles before it's piston time, that's the nice thing with four strokes..
  18. Check out thread titled "2002 sportsman 400 no reverse " I gave executioner a ton of ideas, and reasons, ways to to hardwire around speedo to get awd working
  19. 99% chance speedo is the reason for no 4x4. Does the speedo log hours properly? If not it's probably the speedo head itself. If it logs hours but the trip meter and mph doesn't work then it may be the speed sensor on the right wheel. It's on the brake caliper bracket. You can try to wire up.a hard ground first, the wire coming from the hubs goes to Pin E at the 6 pin( large connector) at the back of the speedo
  20. Test the magnets, should be around 24 ohms. are there any broken wires?make sure speedo is working and grounded properly. Is the AWD switch lighting up? Should have 13 ohms going to magnets... Is there magnetism at magnets?
  21. Does it have no reverse or no 4x4 in reverse..also, does the speedo work? It actually powers the awd..power runs from the awd switch, to the coils, then to the speedo, then to the ground through the speedo
