    if you are careful you shouldnt need new gaskets. not sure what size fuel hose is, i looked in the service manual and it never stated a size ...

    try playing around with the carb more to see if it will idle and power up well. how are the valves? in sync and timed well?

    when i changed mine, there were two wires (a red and a white) that went to a connection plug, i had to use a nail to dislodge the wires in the one half of the connector and put the red wire where the white was and white wire where the red one was. it was an aftermarket stator ...
