Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Got any pictures of your machine?
-
No problem. Did you check all of your connections over? After your modifications, how long did it run ok for?
-
* I moved you into the Arctic Cat Forum and renamed the title thread, which should help to get some replies. Double check all of your connections to make sure that they are tight. Once you installed your aftermarket parts, did it first ride fine? How long until it started to buck or run rough and then die? Do you need a wiring schematic? If so: http://www.quadcrazy.com/atvforum/arctic-cat-atv-forum/6869-2007-arctic-cat-400-auto-auto-le-wiring-diagram.html

That's an adjustment to screw the cable tighter. * Adjusted your thread title to include your atv

The choke restricts air flow basically at startup while the engine is cold. It will not run right if you can not adjust it. Replace that cable.

At least you know what work has been done to it now and it's in better shape. Some people just don't take care of their machines.

ColoRancher, any updates?

Have you made any modifications? You may need to have it re-jetted. -
2008 Kawasaki KFX450r Battery Dies Electrical Troubles
Ajmboy replied to garyp53161's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
When it's clicking, do you check the voltage on the battery? If you hook up a charger, will it start? Is it a condition where the battery is discharging after 2-3 hours? If the battery will not keep a charge, check your regulator/rectifier. If the battery is frying...you will need to do some troubleshooting to see if you have wires that are shorted or a bad connections somewhere. * Changed your thread title to include more details -
Did you get a rebuild kit? Sounds like the fuel flow is not shutting off when the float is at full level.
-
Warren, how did you make out with this? What year is this atv?
-
That's a cute atv...
-
Have you solved your problem? I edited your thread title because it did not include the year, make, and model, or a desfriptive issue. Maybe people will find it now and respond.

Glad to hear that it worked out.

1. That's normal, you will get some blow by gasses back into the air box. It's when you have allo that you have to worry about. Just wipe it off with a rag. 2. Sorry, don't know of any free manuals, but you shoudl really invest in one. 3. Sounds like rattling/loose brake pads that are not sitting properly.
